Residents of 110-122 Oldfields Road, opposite Tesco’s have received a letter from Transport for London setting out their plans to rebuild the embankment on the By Pass, improve the footway and verge and replace the trees.  TfL rather than Sutton Council have responsibility for this, as it is a major road.  Here are the proposals and plans.

The work is expected to take place in late March.
