We were out on Sunday talking to people in Hallmead Road.  Thanks to all who took time to talk to us. We are conscious that the parking problem has got more challenging and one or two of you told us about access ways being blocked.  If this happens the phone number to call is 020 8661 0096.  The Council can issue a ticket where a dropped kerb is blocked without the resident’s permission.  That should act as a deterrent.

Over the next few months there will be consultation on reviewing parking controls in our area, which will be the opportunity to see whether the current approach can be improved on.

We also picked up concerns about litter in Coombe Walk and on Sutton Green, and have asked for these areas to be given a clean.  Also we have asked for the ‘Footpath Closed’ sign half way up the road on the grass verge to be removed.  When you see things like this, do contact the Council’s ‘Report It’ service.
