Following the successful informal consultation with residents a few weeks ago, statutory notices have now been published by the Council for a range of parking measures.  A number of amendments were made to the initial proposals following feedback from residents.  These measures are designed to improve road safety, mainly by improving sight lines at junctions, and also to improve access.  They include (click on the following to find a map of the proposal):

• by some of the shops in Angel Hill

• on the corners of Leafield Rd, Burford Rd and Minster Ave

• on the corner of Hillview Road and Benhill Road

• at the end of Northspur Road and opposite Swallows Close

• on the corner of Gloucester Gardens and Rose Hill

• in Chaucer Road and Milton Road

The closing date for objections is 18 August.  It is expected that the work will be carried out later this summer.
