We are aware that a number of streets in Sutton North did not have their green garden waste collected on the scheduled day in January.

Veolia have advised that they had problems with staff sickness in the first half of January and it has taken them a while to catch up.  Priority during this period was given to the regular refuse collections.

Additional crews were deployed last week and this week, and all garden waste should now have been collected.  Please let us know if this is not the case.

To compensate residents for the missed collections they will get two months Garden Waste collections free, so the period covered will now be 14 months rather than 12.
