Ruth Dombey, Marlene Heron and Steve Penneck, your local Lib Dem councillors will be standing again for the Council in the election on 3 May.
Steve said: ‘Over the last four years we have continued to call on people and get their feedback. People agree that Sutton is a great place to live, work and raise a family. I have found working with residents on some difficult issues really rewarding, as I see people getting more involved in issues that affect them.
Says Ruth: ‘I feel proud of what the Lib Dems have achieved in Sutton – all our manifesto promises from four years ago have been delivered. But there is more to do – we are ambitious for Sutton and for our local area.’
Marlene added: ‘What is important is representing residents in our local area. Sutton Local Committee has continued to give people a voice, and projects we have supported have brought real benefits to people.’
The three campaigners have pledged to continue to deliver for Sutton North by tackling speeding and parking problems, creating a new Village Green for local residents and developing an age-friendly community.
The Lib Dem manifesto for Sutton pledges that Lib Dems will continue to work to make Sutton a great place to live, work and raise a family. The Lib Dems recognise that there is more to do. They are ambitious for Sutton – for local businesses, for the environment and for our young people.
