Planning application No DM2019/01558 for the demolition of the garage and the building of an attached single storey house was refused by Sutton Council last December, as the Council considered the design to be an incompatible and incongruous addition to both the application property and the wider surrounding street scene. The decision of the Council can be seen here.
An appeal has now been lodged with the Planning Inspectorate against this decision. Any representations can be made on the Planning Inspector’s website here. The reference number is APP/P5870/W/20/3245546.
A proposal in 2018 for a two storey house on this site also went to appeal and was dismissed by the Inspectorate.Leave a comment
