The Household Waste and Recycling Centre at Kimpton Road has re-opened for those with booked appointments only. More information is here.

Appointments can be booked here. It opened for bookings on last week. That week generated some useful learning about the booking system and about socially-distanced behaviour on site, and it is anticipated that the number of slots and the opening times can be extended safely.
Demand for booking slots is currently very high and places are limited. New slots are made available each day, please keep checking the website for availability. Only make a booking to visit the HWRC if it’s absolutely essential. Our garden waste and bulky waste collection services are running – please consider using these instead.
Only restricted types of waste are being accepted at Kimpton Road at present, so please check the website before you plan your visit.

I would like to book a slot for disposal of household waste

I need to cancel my appt slot for Tuesday 20th at 11.15am at the rubbish tip
They book several people for the same slot (a maximum number to conform to COVID rules) but there is no system for cancelling a booking. I think you just dont turn up but use the system for a new booking.
