Since its reopening in May, the number of slots available at Kimpton Road has been gradually increased as it is safe to do so. 

With the increase in availability, demand has started to fall and there is now good availability for residents to secure a booking. Residents can  book slots typically between 3 and 5 days in advance. The centre continues to accept the full range of materials and the reuse shop has reopened for customers. Face coverings need to be worn. 

Vans are now also able to access the site again. Van booking slots have higher demand at the moment. These are being monitored and demand is expected to reduce over time. 

Social distancing and enhanced site cleaning continue to ensure the site is safe to welcome residents. The Council’s other waste services continue to operate normally and residents should only book a slot at Kimpton Road when they need one.
