We have heard that the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, who is making the final decision on this appeal, has raised a question which will delay his decision until 25 March.
The issue raised is about whether his department or the Department for Education should be the signatory to the various S106 agreements that accompany the decision. S106 agreements are agreements which give legal force to planning consents.
The decision had previously been expected this coming week. See here for earlier posts.

This is a joke if that planning permission for that school on rose hill has gone through. As a resident of all saints road, it is bad enough having a church school and children coming from other parts of the borough. There will be protests.
