Many of you will be aware of the accident that took place yesterday at the junction of Bushey Road and the High Street. Ruth has been in contact with the police who have said that thankfully no-one was injured. Southern Gas Network have confirmed that the gas leak was very low level with no risk or danger to the public. The road has now been reopened but with traffic lights and one-way restrictions while the repairs are carried out. The scaffolding of the new development has been checked and is safe and secure and the lamppost has been made safe. Thanks to the emergency services for responding so quickly.
