The High Street next to the Gas works development will be closed from 1 April for about ten days.  This is to enable the surface water and gas connections to the site to be made,  and the road to be resurfaced.

Traffic (especially heavy goods vehicles) will be diverted from Rose Hill, the By-pass, Cheam Road and through the one-way system.  Buses will divert along Bushey Road, Collingwood Road and Crown Road.

Your ward councillors have gained an assurance that access to the Gasworks site will not be allowed through Vale Road.
