Have your say on Greenshaw High School planning application!

Greenshaw High have submitted a planning application to the Council to demolish several of their existing school buildings and build two new 2-storey and 3-storey buildings. Temporary buildings will be erected during construction.
Planning application number is DM2023/00466

Proposal: Part demolition of several existing buildings, erection of two temporary 2/3 storey modular buildings to accommodate the pupils whilst the new buildings are being built, erection of two new buildings 2/3 storey buildings, hard and soft landscaping, new entrance from Grennell Road, new cycle and car parking with drop off area.

The following general advice from the Council web site may help:
Planning applications must be assessed against local and national planning policies. The Council can consider issues such as: undue loss of privacy or overlooking; loss of sunlight/daylight; effect on trees; access or traffic problems; need for car parking; unacceptable or incompatible use; noise; fumes; excessive height or bulk buildings; inappropriate design/layout and inadequate landscaping/means of enclosure.
