At the end of last year there was an informal consultation that proposed expanding the existing Parking Permit Area (PPA) as a result of local requests. It currently covers Aultone Way and residents here were asked to feedback on he scheme. The proposal would be to expand it into Rosehill Gardens and Rose Hill Park West. As a result of the informal consultation, the council will now be proceeding to a statutory formal consultation. The proposal will be that permits will be required to park in these roads from 8am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday.
Residents in Rosehill Gardens and Rose Hill Park West should have received a letter from the council outlining the proposals and showing a map of the area that the expanded PPA will cover. This can be viewed here.
More information about permits can be viewed here.
Residents have until Thursday 11 April to submit their representations and can be done by clicking here.
The proposals to add double yellow lines in Woodend will not be taken forward.
