Residents have asked about the state of progress on the new footways and grass verges in Aultone Way.  They have also expressed concern about the standard of work.  We appreciate the concern this has caused in the recent wet weather.

Ruth, Marlene and Steve have taken this up with Council Officers and can report that:

1) The works are on schedule and are due to be completed on or before 19 February;

2) The general finish is within acceptable standards. With regards to the puddling that some have noticed, this is in one area of footway and the contractor is aware of this and is going to address the problem when all works are completed, but before leaving the site.

3) The grass verges are agreed as being not up to a standard. The contractor is aware of this and will rectify the problem before leaving the site.

Councillors have asked that all yellow and white lines are restored as part of the project.
